Bio

I obtained a B.S. and an M.S. degree in computer science from Peking University in 1997 and 2000 respectively, and obtained a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Electrical Engineering Department, University of Southern California in 2006. After that, I worked as a software engineer in Digital Map Products, Inc. for about one year, developing interactive geometry processing tools on digital maps, and worked as a senior software engineer in Qualcomm, Inc. for a couple of years, researching and developing next-generation graphics technology on mobile platforms. Since September 2009, I have been working as a professor in the School of Computer Science and Technology, Shandong University.

Research

My interest of research resides mainly in 3D graphics data coding, analysis of 3D shapes and automatic 3D animation generation
